Wright named “New Englander of the Year”

President James Wright was named “New Englander of the Year” by the New England Council. The Council is recognizing him for his work with veterans from both Afghanistan and Iraq. Wright will share the award with Peter Meade, Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and Representative Barney Frank, who, it seems, after a checkered past (he was formally reprimanded in 1990 “for his relationship with a male prostitute“) has turned things around. Then again, maybe not. This summer he called Mitt Romney “the most intellectually dishonest human being in the history of politics.” Should we be at all concerned that Wright is sharing an award with a man…so given to hyperbole?
