At the NCAA East Regional, Dartmouth junior Peter Williamson (known in some circles as the Sweetest of Petes) tied for tenth by shooting par on the third round of the Pete Dye River Course of Virginia Tech. He finished three over par, good enough to tie for 10th out of 75 participants.
While this was not good enough to advance to the NCAA finals (“In order to advance as an individual, a player must post the lowest score outside of the members of the top five teams”), it was nonetheless a very strong showing. Another round of applause for Mr. Williamson.
