Former Dartmouth Professor Michael Gazzaniga ’61 is on Blogginheads today with an hour-long interview that covers cognitive neuroscience and the law, determinism, the left-brain/right-brain split, and more. Gazzaniga is a pioneer of cognitive neuroscience. He left Dartmouth for the University of California Santa Barbera—shortly after he was awarded a lucrative grant from the National Science Foundation.
UPDATE: I have it from an unimpeachable source that Gazzaniga did not, in fact, take the grant with him to California as I had previously reported.
