ECO Celebrates Earth Day 2008

April 22 is Earth Day; the Environmental Conservation Organization blitzed out campus-wide to inform all students of the event. As I walked across the Green early this afternoon, by far the most noticeable part of the event (aside from the profusion of students sporting Patagonia apparel and Birkenstocks) was that ECO had covered the Green with an enormous mound of garbage–“a trash pile typical daily dorm production [sic]”, as the message below states.
