Dinesh D’Souza ’83 and Bill Ayers will be discussing the nature of America and its ideals tonight at 7:30 in the Hopkins Center. The event will last approximately 90 minutes and is consponsored by the Young America’s Foundation, the Dartmouth College Republicans, and The Dartmouth Review. Bill Ayers repeatedly distorted the historical record about the founding of the USA and the issue of slavery saying that there was never any attempt in our founding to eliminate the institution. Patently false according to Article 1 section 9 of the U.S. Constitution as well as the last section of Article 5.
