Despite all the controversy surrounding the College these days, it seems that Dartmouth’s loyal sons still believe in her. Following the heels of a historic $100 million donation in support of President Hanlon’s clustering hiring initiative, Bill Neukom ’64 has gifted $10 million to the College to create the William H. Neukom Academic Cluster in Computational Science. The donation will fund three new faculty members and one new postdoctoral fellow. It certainly is reassuring to see that while our dear College is under siege, life goes on, and we continue our core academic mission.
