Pulitzer Winner Wasserstein Dead at 55

Playwright Wendy Wasserstein, last year’s Montgomery Fellow, succumbed to Lymphoma today. She leaves behind a young daughter and a body of much-loved plays and movies including “The Heidi Chronicles” and “The Object of My Affection.” While at Dartmouth during the spring and summer, she taught and presented in classes and assisted in the production of the Theater Department’s Mainstage Summer play, “The Heidi Chronicles.”
