Election Rules Violations — VII

Government department chairwoman Anne Sa’adah today continues the College’s public war on independent Trustee candidates Peter Robinson ’79 and Todd Zywicki ’88, declaring in the Daily Dartmouth that they and their supporters are backwards-looking and against progress. Any change to the College, such as diminished writing ability or admittedly “oversubscribed” classes, results from “profound social change,” Sa’adah says, and certainly not from any action (or inaction) by the administration. She dismisses any critique of Dartmouth as against the Enlightenment and as fearing change–ironic, since she’s writing to oppose any change to College leadership.

Alumni association rules prohibit any electioneering by Trustee candidates and their supporters; only two emails are allowed during the campaign.
