Bela Fleck Makes a Stop in Hanover

Bluegrass fans were treated to a show from one of the genre’s legends last night. Bela Fleck is known not only for his virtuosic banjo playing, but also for his tendency to seek out genres other than bluegrass in which to showcase the banjo as an instrument. He did just that last night, teaming up with Chick Corea for a night of banjo and piano duets. I was too slow off the blocks to score a ticket, but Nathan Empsall has a post up about the concert.
